Aadi Arya was admitted to and shined at Oxford both in academics and in their quiz team.

Before that AAK finished two years at Georgia Tech before taking time off to study at Oxford. Georgia Tech allowed Aadi Arya the freedom to explore widely from Math (his first passion) to Philosophy to writing (even allowing him the ability to take classes at Emory University). Aadi Arya continued with quiz bowl there and was part of the national championship winning Oxford 2023 quiz bowl team.

At Lambert High school, Aadi Arya Karthik was active in math (representing Georgia in ARML and representing Lambert in various math competitions), quiz ( winning the national championship for Lambert, leading Lambert’s team on local TV station’s HighQ), and maintaining high academic rigor in classes at Georgia Tech, Stanford Online School, and Lambert High School. All summers were spent in residential math camps in pursuit of knowledge and excellence in mathematics. Aadi Arya came first in the Kennesaw State Math competition in senior year. Repeatedly missing AMO and JMO by fractions of points pushed AAK to work harder every year that made Aadi Arya a stronger person.

At South Forsyth Middle School, AAK scored 1600 on SAT in their first and only time with no preparation and was awarded full scholarship to Duke Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP) summer residential camp at Davidson College to study Math. All that extra work earned them the opportunity to represent Georgia in National Mathcounts in Washington DC. Music teacher, Dr. Poor was a big influence on Aadi Arya, helping develop as a state symphonic band member playing saxophone, even getting the opportunity to perform at the Carnegie Hall, in New York, and also as a music composer show casing their work in performances at GMEA. Dr. Poor also introduced Aadi Arya to Mr. Brandyn Taylor who was instrumental in AAK develop into the saxophone player they became by age 17.

From math to quiz to tennis to saxophone to piano (and music composition), Aadi Arya got good pretty easily but the drive to be great meant Aadi Arya worked really hard at each one of these. AAK was also a life scout having been in scouting for nearly 9 years starting as a Cub Scout. Eating out, collecting books, skiing and hiking with family were other interests of Aadi Arya.
